Improving Services for Canadian Military Veterans Having Experienced Sexual Misconduct

Understanding experiences and perceptions of the systems and supports available to those having experienced Military Sexual Misconduct - Veteran and service provider perspectives.

This study aims to understand the experiences of Canadian military Veterans’ experiences with sexual misconduct, including perceptions and advice for future program changes. Two branches of the study exist - one for Veterans, and one for service providers. For Veterans participants, you will meet confidentially with researchers one-on-one to discuss your experiences of sexual misconduct during your military service, including any barriers and/or facilitators you experienced with regards to obtaining support. For clinician participants, you will meet confidentially one-on-one with researchers to discuss your experiences of providing services to individuals having experienced military sexual misconduct.
