Durapore vs. Hy-Tape to Secure The Endotracheal Tube

A variety of adhesive tapes are used to secure the endotracheal tube during anesthesia, including 3MTM Durapore (acrylate- based tape) and the Hy-TapeAR Pink tape (zinc-based tape) with no preference for one or the other. In this study, the investigators will compare two tapes to determine if one is less likely to cause skin irritation around the mouth in an effort to improve care for future patients.
