The purpose of this study is to understand healthcare workers’ and public safety personnel’s experiences of COVID-19-related stress, moral injury, and minority stress.

Our aims are to a) identify the specific circumstances of events, workplace factors, supports, psychological responses, and experiences associated with COVID-19 related moral injury among HCWs and PSP, and b) to elucidate the unique lived experience of minority identities among HCWs and PSP from an intersectional lens, and, understand how risk and resiliency for mental illness during the COVID-19 pandemic is affected by chronic stress associated with marginalized identities.
